I moved from Toledo, Ohio to Tucson, Arizona on November 30, 2008.  It took some time to adjust to living in the desert, but I now consider it home.  There is something very zen about the desert, and I have never seen the colors in nature that I have seen here.

At the beginning of June 2012, My husband, John, and I bought our dream house!   We searched for almost two years, and I was definitely ready to be in my own space with my own things after renting a furnished villa for 3 1/2 years.  I started this blog to keep my family and friends (many of whom are thousands of miles away) updated on our new house and our life here in Tucson.
