Our first major project was to paint the entire interior. At move-in, the walls were, for the most part, fairly neutral – variations of grey, clay, and sand. But the burnt orange accent walls didn’t work with what we had envisioned, and even the neutral walls were in need of a fresh coat of paint. So, we started painting last Wednesday – everything white!

It’s definitely been hard getting organized with all of the painting. This morning I had to empty our closet (which I spent many hours arranging) so that the painters could paint. Basically, I just keep moving boxes from one room to another.
