I cringed every time I walked past the 5×8 rug in our living room, which is about 100 times a day!  While it looked great in my 850 square foot loft in Ohio, it was so inappropriate in this space.  Although we’ll eventually get a custom area rug, we have other decorating priorities at the moment.  So, I bought this 9×12 rug as a temporary solution, knowing that I can use it in another room when we get the custom rug.  I think it makes a huge difference!
