After eleven long days…the house is white!  Interior designer Pamela Straub, who is also my Mom, recommended the color (or lack thereof),  Benjamin Moore super white.  We love it!  Here are some before and after pics:

Our first major project was to paint the entire interior.  At move-in, the walls were, for the most part, fairly neutral – variations of grey, clay, and sand.  But the burnt orange accent walls didn’t work with what we had envisioned, and even the neutral walls were in need of a fresh coat of paint.  So, we started painting last Wednesday – everything white!

It’s definitely been hard getting organized with all of the painting.  This morning I had to empty our closet (which I spent many hours arranging) so that the painters could paint.  Basically, I just keep moving boxes from one room to another.
